CHSDA/Center for Arts- Inspired Learning

In the fall of 2015, through a program with Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, we began our work in CMSD’s High School for the Digital Arts.  Since then, we have been teaching a wide variety of arts-based curriculum spanning digital fashion design, sewing, patternmaking, and screen-printing.  Students gain foundational, hands-on skills through project-based work.  Students have an opportunity to fuse their ideas and artistic creativity by learning artisanal craft.  Through a service-learning project, students learned foundational sewing skills by making pillows for 2100, the men’s homeless shelter down street from the school.

Help fund a student’s path to learning valuable life skills.
